President 

Medical Advisor

Dr. Erica Gamble is a seasoned leader, educator, and advocate with over two decades of experience in higher education and community service. She holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences (concentration in Trichology) and earned a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Behavior, and has dedicated her career to empowering individuals through education, leadership development, and wellness advocacy. 

Since 2015, Dr. Gamble has also served as the owner of The Wig Dr. Wig Boutique and Mastectomy Center in Marietta, Georgia, where she supports individuals experiencing hair loss and women diagnosed with breast cancer, offering post-mastectomy care with compassion

and dignity. Her entrepreneurial spirit, compassionate leadership, and strategic insight make her a valuable asset to any organization focused on creating meaningful change. 

Dr. Gamble is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and has been married for 18 years and has two sons, aged 33 and 31.

Vice President

Kevin Agurs is a visionary entrepreneur, influential radio host, and the CEO of 930

Certified Entertainment. As an accomplished movie producer, Kevin has dedicated his

career to amplifying meaningful stories and creating platforms that uplift and inspire.

A long-time advocate and supporter of breast cancer awareness, Kevin has devoted

years to empowering both women and men affected by this disease. His commitment to

community health and education stems from a deep belief in the power of compassion,

early detection, and collective action.

As Vice President of the EmpowHER & HIM Breast Cancer Foundation, Kevin uses his

leadership, media expertise, and wide-reaching influence to drive critical conversations,

honor survivors, and support those currently navigating their breast cancer journey. His

work embodies the foundation’s mission to ensure that no one fights alone —

regardless of gender, background, or circumstance.

Through his dedication and service, Kevin continues to be a powerful force for change

and an inspiring example of how advocacy and creativity can make a lasting impact.

Secretary

Amanda Hunter is a dedicated public servant with a career rooted in advocacy, care, and community empowerment. Having had trusted roles within Social Services and Public Health, Amanda has long been a champion for those navigating complex systems.

She brings to the nonprofit sector a wealth of hands-on experience, both as a seasoned service provider and as a small business owner and consultant, offering practical solutions and strategic insights to help organizations better serve their communities. With many years of voluntary service, Amanda is a respected voice and critical advocate for equitable access, quality care, and meaningful support.

A woman of purpose, Amanda is also a devoted wife and mother who uses her many gifts to uplift her family, others, and lead with compassion and integrity. Her commitment to service is not just a career—it’s a calling.

Medical Advisor

 Dr. Ajayi graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology and master’s degree in Science Education. He went on to complete his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He returned to Georgia and completed his residency training at the Morehouse School of Medicine. During his training, he served as a medical student lecturer in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment and conducted research on a range of medical topics spanning from basic to clinical research. 
 

Dr. Ajayi founded Connected Minds in 2019 with the goal of providing quality, high value, and easily accessible care to patients ranging from high-profile to the most in need. With this goal in mind, Connected Minds upholds a caring, convenient, culturally informed, and collaborative approach to care. Our mission is to connect with the most intimate parts of our clients, develop a holistic understanding of their concerns, and work alongside them to provide appropriate care.
 

Dr. Ajayi is a first-generation Nigerian-American. He was born in Albany, Georgia where he attended grade school and has participated in mission trips providing free medical services to West Africa. In his downtime, he enjoys listening to music, participating in charity events, connecting with others on a deeper level, and finding creative ways to inspire other minorities to pursue careers in the field of mental health.

Entertainment Outreach

Darlene McCoy  Jackson is a trailblazing gospel artist, author, speaker, and nationally syndicated radio personality. She rose to prominence with her 2005 hit single "Fallen in Love", featured on the Diary of a Mad Black Woman soundtrack, and followed up with a critically acclaimed self-titled album in 2007. Her music has earned her Dove Award nominations and chart success, including the powerful single "I Shall Live and Not Die."

As the first African American woman to host a nationally syndicated nighttime radio show (The Nightly Spirit), Darlene’s voice reaches over 6 million listeners across the U.S. She was inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame in 2022 and is the founder of RËALM Meditation Sessions, a faith-based meditation experience promoting spiritual wellness.

Darlene’s dynamic influence continues through her media presence, musical impact, and passion for empowering others.

Director of Events 

Patricia Oalden is a passionate DIY crafter, balloon artist, set decorator, stage manager, and community advocate with a talent for transforming creative visions into memorable experiences. Known for her attention to detail and story-driven design, she leads events like Vision Board gatherings, Cancer Sneakers of Hope, and Lifetime Achievement Award ceremonies, while also serving as an Entertainment Coordinator for community initiatives. Raised in a community-centered environment, Patricia is dedicated to using creativity to foster connection, collaboration, and lasting impact. 

Treasurer 

Madelynn Speach, affectionately known as “Mz. Maddi,” is a respected addiction

professional, clinical supervisor, and regulatory compliance officer with over two

decades of experience in behavioral health, accountability court services, and

professional education. Originally from Seattle and now based in Georgia since 2007,

she is the founder of Northwest Counseling Professionals (est. 2010), Regulatory

Compliance and Training Institute (est. 2021), and Fill in the Blank Tax and Notary (est.

2021). Through her work, she offers counseling, compliance consulting, CEU-approved

training, and tax services tailored for individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit

organizations. Known for her direct yet compassionate approach, Ms. Maddi blends

structure, mentorship, and truth to breathe life into recovery. Her newest venture, The

Change Project, is a nonprofit initiative aimed at supporting individuals struggling with

addiction through education, outreach, and transitional services continuing her lifelong

mission to turn pain into purpose and accountability into transformation.

Executive Director

Jasmine Milaya Spann, widely known as Milaya, is a published model, actress,

advocate, and Executive Director for the EmpowHER & HIM Breast Cancer Foundation.

With a dynamic career that began at age 12, she has been featured both nationally and

internationally in print campaigns, including a full-page spread and cover for B.Louder

Young. Her runway experience includes appearances in high-profile charity fashion

shows, such as Curls on the Runway, where she was featured in EBONY Magazine.

A passionate, creative, and a leader, Milaya has seamlessly blended her talents in

entertainment and advocacy to build a multidimensional career. She served as a key

member of the team at Ask April Love, where she managed client relations and worked

with a range of talent, including Tashera Simmons and other notable figures. Her work

there strengthened her foundation in branding, communications, and talent support.

Now serving as Executive Director on the board of the EmpowHER & HIM Breast

Cancer Foundation, Milaya brings vision, innovation, and a heart for the community.

She uses her platform to advocate for equity in health awareness and to amplify the

voices of women and families affected by breast cancer.

Milaya’s mission is rooted in impact, purpose, and storytelling. She continues to expand

her reach across creative and advocacy spaces, and her presence on social media

reflects her commitment to inspiring, empowering, and showing up authentically.

Community Outreach 

Diana Iheanacho is a dedicated Nursing Professional with a passion for Advocacy,

Education and Equitable Healthcare Access. With a strong foundation in the

Pharmaceutical Industry, clinical practice, healthcare and reimbursement, Diana

specializes in Advocating for patients, Disease awareness, Community Outreach and

Foundation Partnerships with an emphasis on building collaborative relationships. She

is posed in Public Speaking and empower nurses through her knowledge, support and

reimbursement education; bridging the gap between frontline providers and healthcare

payor systems, ensuring that Patient Access Liaisons are equipped to advocate for their

patients, making it possible for patients to receive life changing medications. Through

her expertise, Diana fosters an All-Inclusive attitude of " Leaving No Patient Behind".

Diana navigates pharmaceutical protocols, billing systems and reimbursement

landscapes with clarity and confidence. Diana is also a Veteran. Having served in the

U.S. Armed Forces for 7 years. She is no stranger to Serving.

Young Adult Outreach & Social Media Lead EmpowHER & HIM

Brianna Coleman is a dynamic leader, passionate advocate, and strategic creative dedicated to making a difference in the breast cancer community. She holds a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Physician Assistant Studies, and she brings both clinical understanding and emotional insight to her role as Young Adult Outreach &

Social Media Lead for EmpowHER & Him.

Brianna’s passion for breast cancer advocacy is deeply personal. Her mother is a breast cancer survivor and the founder of EmpowHER & Him. Witnessing her mother’s journey inspired Brianna to be a voice for young adults navigating the impact of a diagnosis in their families, friendships, and communities.

Through her work, Brianna creates empowering content, leads youth-focused outreach, and fosters meaningful conversations around awareness, early detection, and emotional resilience. Her goal is to ensure that young people feel seen, supported, and educated. Advocacy starts with connection, and healing begins with community.

Social Media Strategist 

Sarah Virani  is an ambitious and purpose-driven Social Media Strategist at EmpowHER and the HIM Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting both men and women affected by breast cancer. With a strong passion for advocacy, awareness, and empowerment, Sarah specializes in crafting impactful digital strategies that promote breast cancer awareness, amplify underrepresented voices, and build authentic online communities.

Blending creativity with strategy, Sarah develops innovative campaigns and storytelling content designed to educate, engage, and inspire. Whether it's championing women’s empowerment or breaking the stigma around male breast cancer, Sarah is committed to promoting meaningful conversations and using social media as a powerful platform for real change.

Legislative Outreach

Madison Alexander brings over a decade of strategic community engagement and advocacy experience to legislative outreach initiatives. With a proven track record of building coalitions and managing complex stakeholder relationships, she has successfully coordinated grassroots campaigns, managed multi-million dollar budgets, and facilitated meaningful dialogue between diverse community groups and policymakers.

Her experience spans from hands-on legislative work as a California State Assembly intern, where she managed constituent casework and coordinated community events, to leading large-scale advocacy efforts with organizations like Clean Water Action and the Natural Resources Defense Council. Madison has demonstrated expertise in translating complex policy issues into accessible community engagement opportunities, organizing events for audiences ranging from 20 to 1,500 participants.

Madison continues to leverage her relationship-building skills and regulatory compliance knowledge to navigate complex stakeholder environments. Her background in healthcare advocacy, environmental policy, and community organizing positions her uniquely to bridge the gap between legislative priorities and community needs.

Event Planning/ Marketing 

Brittney Wilcox is a dynamic force in the arts and empowerment space, hailing from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She spoken word artist, creative director of fine arts, philanthropist, art therapist, and empowerment speaker, she has dedicated her life to inspire, motivate and bring  transformation through the power of creativity.

She’s a 10-year breast cancer survivor, who uses her personal journey to reach colleges and universities. She uses her platform to advocate for faith, healing, mental health, and self-expression. She is the visionary founder of Kingdom Knot Events, an international wedding and interior design company, and Wilcox Legacy Media, a premier multimedia production company she co-founded with her husband, Chazz Wilcox. With a passion for purpose-driven impact, she has partnered with over 20 nonprofit organizations, bringing their missions to life through curated charity benefits, awareness initiatives, art therapy programs, and creative strategy. Her work weaves artistry and advocacy, transforming spaces and lives by using the arts and entertainment industry as a vehicle for global empowerment and awareness.

Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in front of the canvas, Brittney continues to redefine what it means to create with purpose bridging faith and impact, and leaving a legacy of light for generations to come.

 Community Outreach and Volunteers 

Originally from Toccoa, Georgia and raised in Houston, Texas, Tammy Oglesby is currently an Atlanta-based Logistics and Supply Chain professional with two decades of experience in global operations, project management, and strategic planning. She holds a BBA with a minor in Management from LeTourneau University and has received honors including the President’s Award for Supply Chain Excellence and the BHI Core Value Award.

A former board member of “Phenomenal Women Organization” and past member of WISTA International, she is passionate about empowering women—believing that personal health is the foundation of professional growth. She brings this passion into every space she serves—professionally, in the community, and through mentorship. A proud mother of three sons and “Gigi” to two grandchildren, she is honored to support the foundation’s mission with heart and purpose.
